Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, I have graduated in 1994 in Medicine, finished residency in Neurology and started translating in 1999. In 2011, I finally “took the jump” to full-time career in Translation.

Having worked as a co-investigator in large clinical trials such as PERFORM (on terutroban, an antiplatelet drug) and TRANSFORMS (on fingolimod, recently approved for multiple sclerosis) and as an internal medical reviewer for a pharmaceutical company, I have extensive knowledge in all types of clinical trial and medical documents, from clinical trial protocols, investigator’s brochures and other important technical and regulatory documents (such as PSURs, SmPCs, CIOMS, patient narratives, evaluation scales and so on) to marketing and learning materials.

It is also fair to say that I, as a physician with more than 20 years of hands-on clinical experience, represent the expected target audience for medical texts. So, let’s get in touch!
